
The world would be a better place, I think, if people sought to meet authors instead of actors, ff they listened to musicians instead of bands, and if they actually took the time to understand each other.
Every generation complains that the culture of humanity slips with each new life. Sure, we may dismiss it as a sign of old age. An unwillingness to adapt. But, doesn’t it make a little sense? Without maintenance things lead to entropy. A degrading into what we normally would call chaos. Who maintains culture? How do you maintain society when it defines how we act, what we seek, and essentially who we are. It makes perfect sense for things to be in disarray.
But at the same time. Who are we really to say that nature’s preferred state is one of disarray.
